The Beijer Electronics X2 extreme series comprises rugged Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panels designed for demanding environments, including outdoor settings and hazardous areas with gases, vapors, and dust. These panels are certified by major classification societies and are built to withstand extreme conditions, featuring an operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C, high vibration resistance, and the ability to endure high-pressure wash-downs.​ 

The X2 extreme series offers panels in 7", 12", and 15" sizes, each available in three versions:​ 

· Panel Mount Standard: Suitable for general rugged applications.​

· High-Performance: Features high-brightness displays for enhanced visibility in bright conditions and optional integrated CODESYS PLC functionality for advanced control capabilities.​ 

· Fully Sealed High-Performance: Equipped with M12 connectors and offers IP66, NEMA 4X/12 ratings, making them ideal for environments requiring robust sealing against dust and water ingress.​ 

All high-performance versions provide a 1,000 cd/m² backlight, ensuring excellent readability even in direct sunlight. Additionally, the backlight is continuously dimmable to very low brightness levels, allowing for comfortable and safe operation in varying ambient light conditions. ​ 

For enterprises and users aiming to utilize HTML5 web technologies in industrial environments, the X2 extreme series offers web HMI panels.
