Description:  

The VZ Torque(TM) series actuators are designed as fail safe actuators. In the event of a power loss, a battery (for models with 2,655 in-lb and above) or a supercapacitor (for models with 1,770 in-lb and below) will automatically drive the actuator to a preset fail position, which can be either fully open or fully closed. The fail position is field selectable.
